EXTENSIVE PROJECT FOR PLANNING AND LANDUSE MANAGEMENT IN NORWAY

For Statens Kartverk and GeoVekst in Norway aerial photos, laser scanning, photogrammetric surveying and orthophotos of Aure Municipality were produced.

The project was executed in 2005-2006, and it covered 653 km² of mountainous fjord areas. Aerial photography with film cameras were produced for photogrammetric surveying and orthophotos. The project provided the clients with updated digital maps for planning and landuse management.

The ground sample distance of the produced orthophotos are 25 cm. The project also included fixed wing laser scanning with our Optech ALTM3100C/Piper Navajo PA31 installation to establish a laser pointcloud with a point density of 1 point/m². 1 m contour lines is generated from the laser pointcloud.
